In our area, there are three different species of lavender plants: Spike Lavender (lavandula latifolia): Grows at an altitude up to 500m. True Lavender (lavendula angustifolia): Flowers above 500m of altitude. Hybrid Lavender (Lavendin): cross between the above two species, resulting from natural polination from insects. Totals 90% of the current cultivation..

When to see the lavenders?
The best period is between June 15th and July 15th.
