Canoeing on the Drôme River from 6 to 18 km from the leisure center in spring and 9 km from the Chamarges campsite in summer, with return trips by minibus.
Description
Daily departures from Die or Pont de Quart for half-day or full-day cruising on the Drôme as far as Pontaix or Vercheny, depending on river levels.
Kayaks can be rented from the leisure center, and departures can be reached by minibus shuttle.

La Drôme is one of the last wild river in France. Every year, thousands of kayakers paddle down its 44 km stretch of water. What makes canoeing the river Drôme unique is the fact that it is free of dams and other structures. The source of La Drôme is in Pays Diois and it flows into le Rhône at Loriol sur Drôme.

From July, our canoe base moves to the Chamarges campsite, just outside Die (towards Valence).
1, 2 or 3-seater canoe-kayak rental including paddle, lifejackets and helmets and minibus shuttle.
Swimming skills are essential.
