This former earthenware factory has been carefully renovated and furnished by Christelle and Franck. In the heart of Drôme provençale, between Montélimar and Grignan, you'll be in the land of Dieulefit, land of potters and a village of arts and crafts (10min by car).
Description
At the gîte, you'll appreciate the calm of the surroundings, the wooded garden with its small stream, ideal for relaxing, the sheltered terraces with garden furniture, the courtyard for playing pétanque or table tennis, and of course the private swimming pool (open from May to September, weather permitting). Numerous bike/mountain bike outings are available from the gîte, and a lockable bike storage area can be provided on request. The region's must-see sights are within easy reach of the gîte. Le Poët-Laval, a listed medieval hilltop village, is 5km away, with the Valdaine plain to the west, the southern Diois to the east, and the Parc naturel des Baronnies Provençales to the south. Grignan, with the famous château of the Comtesse de Sévigné, is 30 minutes away, as is the Forêt de Saou, an ideal place for beautiful hikes.
