In 2022, a large number of residents of the Rouvières district have expressed their desire to join forces to build a healthy, social and shared lifestyle, while preserving a natural environment.

Description

Thus was born the idea of the "Inclusive Neighborhood", by analogy with inclusive housing, already widespread in our country. Today, the project has matured, and the concept of an "intergenerational district" has become the basis of our associative project, at the same time as the notion of district now extends to neighboring districts.
Inhabitants of Dieulefit, a small town in the Drôme provençale region, grouped together in the Rouvières district, an area located 2 km from the town center, and where 70% of the inhabitants are retired.
Dieulefit natives can be counted on the fingers of two hands!
From the 1960s onwards, people in search of sunshine and the good life, usually from the Lyon region, Paris, Belgium or Holland, gradually built second homes in anticipation of settling here in retirement.
