Domestic originally, the ceramic industry had its golden age during the 19th\u00a0century industrial revolution. Not before the 20th\u00a0century did it acquire an \u2018art status\u2019. Nowadays, our\u00a0Dieulefit-Bourdeaux District is home to around 41 workshops of potters and ceramists &#8211; amongst other artisans and artists who have chosen this region to develop their talents. It showcases the diversity of local ceramics through temporary and permanent exhibitions. You can even participate in training courses and one-off workshops.<br \/>\nA pottery market takes place every other year over the Whitsun weekend. Around a hundred professionals attend the event.
